Application of cemented carbide (main purpose):
(1) cutting tools: cemented carbide can be used as a variety of cutting tools. The amount of hard alloy for cutting tools in China accounts for about 1/3 of the total hard alloy production, of which about 78% of the welding tools are used, and about 22% of the translocation tools are used. The NC tool hard alloy only accounts for about 20% of the hard alloy for the relocated tool, in addition to the whole hard alloy bit, the whole hard alloy small circular saw blade, the hard alloy micro drill and so on.
Tungsten cobalt cemented carbide is suitable for the processing of black metal, non-ferrous metal and the processing of non-metallic materials, such as cast iron, cast brass, bakelite, and so on. Tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide is suitable for long chip processing of steel and other black metals. In the same alloy, cobalt content is more suitable for rough machining, and cobalt content is less suitable for finishing. General cemented carbide is much longer than stainless steel and other hard alloy materials.
(2) mould: the hard alloys used as various kinds of moulds account for about 8% of the total amount of hard alloy production. There are drawing die, cold heading die, cold extrusion die, hot extrusion die, hot forging die, forming die and drawing pipe core rod, such as long mandrel, ball shaped bar, floating stamen and so on, and all kinds of hard alloy rolls used for rolling wire rod for nearly a decade. The growth rate is very fast. The cemented carbide used for rolls in China accounts for 3% of the total production of cemented carbide.
