What are cemented carbide rods used to do?
Cemented carbide rods, or tungsten carbide rods, are simply tungsten steel bars or carbide rods. Cemented carbide is a composite made of refractory metal compounds (hard phase) and bonding metal (binder phase) produced by powder metallurgy. Cemented carbide, also known as tungsten steel, is relatively different from the local one.
Cemented carbide rods are two main uses, one is cutting tools, the other is punching type mold accessories. But it is not all made of rod, and many of them are cut out with plate, the main reason is that the technical gap is very large, so the high quality is very expensive, not like the plate, which is relatively close and relatively cheap.
