2. compressive strength
The compressive strength of hard alloy is very high, it can be 30%-50% higher than that of high speed steel, which is about 3500-5600MPa. The compressive strength of 6000MPa. hard alloy can reach 6000MPa.. The compressive strength of cobalt content is the largest when the cobalt content is 5%. The compressive strength of fine grain hard alloy is larger than that of coarse grain.YT hard alloy, which is lower than that of YG hard alloy. Gold decreases with the increase of TiC content. Addition of a small amount of TaC, NbC and VC can refine the WC grain and increase the compressive strength.
