Mechanical properties of cemented carbide?

As the tooth of industry, hard alloy is used as hard phase as carbide (WC, TiC, etc.) of one or more refractory metals, and using transition metal (Co etc.) as bonding phase to prepare polyphase material produced by powder metallurgy. As the cutting tool of hard alloy, common carbides are commonly used, such as WC, TiC, TaC, NbC and so on. The bonding phase is Co, Ni, Fe and so on. The strength of hard alloy mainly depends on the content of the bonding phase. The hard alloy has the advantages of high strength, high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and low coefficient of linear expansion. It is widely used in many industrial production operations, and it is one of the best good tools.
