Tungsten carbide was first used in stretching mold area and has gone though cast iron mold, alloy steel mold, diamond dies, cemented carbide dies, polycrystalline module die and other developmental stages. Cemented carbide die possesses the qualities of high wear resistance, good polishing performance and low friction coefficient, it has now been widely used for drawing steel wires, nonferrous metals wires and alloy wires and rods. The surface of drawing die is not allowed to appear peeling, delaminating, cracks, uncompacted, budding, carburization and air marking, working part does not allow any traces, viscous materials, pit, offside and off-angle, the length multiplied by width of off-side and off-angle for non-working parts is not more than 1.0*0.5mm, the depth not more than 0.5mm.
